ABSTRACT

En la pandemia por COVID-19 se exploraron estrategias de atención para garantizar el seguimiento de niños con asma grave. Estudio prospectivo, observacional, comparativo. Se incluyeron pacientes del programa de asma grave de un hospital pediátrico de tercer nivel (n 74). Se evaluó el grado de control, exacerbaciones y hospitalizaciones durante un período presencial (PP), marzo 2019-2020, y uno virtual (PV), abril 2020-2021. En el PP, se incluyeron 74 pacientes vs. 68 (92 %) del PV. En el PP, el 68 % (46) de los pacientes presentaron exacerbaciones vs. el 46 % (31) de los pacientes en el PV (p 0,003). En el PP, se registraron 135 exacerbaciones totales vs. 79 en el PV (p 0,001); hubo una reducción del 41 %. En el PP, el 47 % (32) de los pacientes tuvieron exacerbaciones graves vs. el 32 % (22) de los pacientes en el PV (p 0,048). Hubo 91 exacerbaciones graves en el PP vs. 49 en el PV (p 0,029), reducción del 46 %. No hubo diferencias en las hospitalizaciones (PP 10, PV 6; p 0,9). La telemedicina fue efectiva para el seguimiento de pacientes con asma grave


During the COVID-19 pandemic, health care strategies were explored to ensure the follow-up of children with severe asthma. This was a prospective, observational, and comparative study. Patients in the severe asthma program of a tertiary care children's hospital were included (n: 74). The extent of control, exacerbations, and hospitalizations during an in-person period (IPP) (March 2019­2020) and an online period (OP) (April 2020­2021) was assessed. A total of 74 patients were enrolled in the IPP compared to 68 (92%) in the OP. During the IPP, 68% (46) of patients had exacerbations versus 46% (31) during the OP (p = 0.003). During the IPP, 135 total exacerbations were recorded compared to 79 during the OP (p = 0.001); this accounted for a 41% reduction. During the IPP, 47% (32) of patients had severe exacerbations versus 32% (22) during the OP (p = 0.048). A total of 91 severe exacerbations were recorded during the IPP compared to 49 during the OP (p = 0.029); the reduction was 46%. No differences were observed in terms of hospitalization (IPP: 10, OP: 6; p = 0,9). Telemedicine was effective for the follow-up of patients with severe asthma.

Introducción. La usabilidad en un sistema de teleconsulta afecta directamente la eficiencia y efectividad de la atención médica remota. Objetivo. Evaluar la usabilidad de la teleconsulta durante la pandemia por COVID-19. Población y método. Estudio de corte transversal. Incluimos a los cuidadores de niños/as de 1 mes a 12 años. Evaluamos la usabilidad mediante el Telehealth Usability Questionnaire adaptado en español. Además, evaluamos datos socioeconómicos. Resultados. Tasa de respuesta del 70,2 % (n = 221). La mayoría eran mujeres, edad promedio 33 años, con educación secundaria y cobertura de salud pública. El 87,8 % eligió atención telefónica y el 88,2 % tenía su primera teleconsulta. Alta satisfacción general con puntuaciones menores en facilidad de uso y aprendizaje en videollamadas. Conclusión. La teleconsulta mostró alta usabilidad, independientemente de la modalidad, para cuidadores de niños/as de 1 mes a 12 años.


Introduction. Usability in a telemedicine system directly affects the efficiency and effectiveness of remote health care. Objective. To assess the usability of teleconsultations during the COVID-19 pandemic. Population and method. This was a cross-sectional study. The caregivers of children aged 1 month to 12 years were included. Usability was assessed with the Telehealth Usability Questionnaire, adapted to Spanish. Socioeconomic data were also assessed. Results. The response rate was 70.2% (n = 221). Most responders were women whose average age was 33 years, had completed secondary education and had public health insurance. Of them, 87.8% selected telephone health care and 88.2% had their first teleconsultation. The overall satisfaction was high, with lower scores for ease of use and learning how to use video calls. Conclusion. Regardless of modality, the usability of teleconsultations by caregivers of children aged 1 month to 12 years was adequate.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE: To describe the use of telemedicine by health professionals for diagnosis or treatment of patients during the Covid-19 pandemic. METHOD: This is a systematic literature review of observational studies. Five databases were used. The assessment of the studies methodological quality occurred individually among the revisors and the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) tool was used. RESULTS: The reviewers selected 22 articles from 6,180 works. The services provided through telemedicine were consultation/screening, consultation/follow-up or monitoring, test reports, medication prescriptions and case discussions. The technological resources used were platforms using video and telephone (audio and video). The use of telemedicine made it possible to reduce their exposure to Covid-19, reduce social panic and anxiety, quickly medical specialties access and the possibility of access to diagnosis and treatment of patients with chronic and acute diseases. CONCLUSION: Telemedicine can be an important tool in healthcare, keeping patients and healthcare professionals safe during the Covid-19 pandemic.

ABSTRACT Objective: To develop and validate predictive models to estimate the number of COVID-19 patients hospitalized in the intensive care units and general wards of a private not-for-profit hospital in São Paulo, Brazil. Methods: Two main models were developed. The first model calculated hospital occupation as the difference between predicted COVID-19 patient admissions, transfers between departments, and discharges, estimating admissions based on their weekly moving averages, segmented by general wards and intensive care units. Patient discharge predictions were based on a length of stay predictive model, assessing the clinical characteristics of patients hospitalized with COVID-19, including age group and usage of mechanical ventilation devices. The second model estimated hospital occupation based on the correlation with the number of telemedicine visits by patients diagnosed with COVID-19, utilizing correlational analysis to define the lag that maximized the correlation between the studied series. Both models were monitored for 365 days, from May 20th, 2021, to May 20th, 2022. Results: The first model predicted the number of hospitalized patients by department within an interval of up to 14 days. The second model estimated the total number of hospitalized patients for the following 8 days, considering calls attended by Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein's telemedicine department. Considering the average daily predicted values for the intensive care unit and general ward across a forecast horizon of 8 days, as limited by the second model, the first and second models obtained R² values of 0.900 and 0.996, respectively and mean absolute errors of 8.885 and 2.524 beds, respectively. The performances of both models were monitored using the mean error, mean absolute error, and root mean squared error as a function of the forecast horizon in days. Conclusion: The model based on telemedicine use was the most accurate in the current analysis and was used to estimate COVID-19 hospital occupancy 8 days in advance, validating predictions of this nature in similar clinical contexts. The results encourage the expansion of this method to other pathologies, aiming to guarantee the standards of hospital care and conscious consumption of resources.

ABSTRACT Heart failure is the leading cause of cardiac-related hospitalizations. Limited access to reevaluations and outpatient appointments restricts the application of modern therapies. Telemedicine has become an essential resource in the healthcare system because of its countless benefits, such as higher and more frequent appointments and faster titration of medications. This narrative review aimed to demonstrate the evidence and unresolved issues related to the use of telemedicine in patients with heart failure. No studies have examined heart failure prevention; however, several studies have addressed the prevention of decompensation with positive results. Telemedicine can be used to evaluate all patients with heart failure, and many telemedicine platforms are available. Several strategies, including both noninvasive (phone calls, weight measurement, and virtual visits) and invasive (implantable pulmonary artery catheters) strategies can be implemented. Given these benefits, telemedicine is highly desirable, particularly for vulnerable groups. Although some questions remain unanswered, the development of new technologies can complement remote visits and improve patient care.

ABSTRACT Purpose: To analyze teleconsultation at a public ophthalmic teaching hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic in Brazil. Methods: Medical records of patients who requested ophthalmological teleconsultation between June 2020 and March 2021 were reviewed. The main outcomes included demographic data, eye disease symptoms, hypothesized diagnosis, and management. Moreover, the results of a satisfaction survey administered after the consultation were analyzed. Results: Medical records of a total of 161 patients were reviewed. The mean age was 45.98 ± 17.57 (8-90) years, and most were women (113, 70.20%). Only 57 (35.60%) of the patients had made previous follow-up visits to the hospital. The most frequent reason for consultation was the need for a new eyeglass prescription (73, 45.34%), followed by dry eye symptoms (16, 9.93%) and pterygium (13, 8.07%). Other reasons were the monitoring of previously diagnosed eye diseases, such as glaucoma, retinopathies, strabismus, and keratoconus. Regarding the satisfaction survey, 151 (93.78%) patients answered the online questionnaire. Most reported that they were satisfied with the teleconsultation (94.03%) and would participate in a future teleconsultation (90.06%). Conclusion: Teleconsultation could be widely used to assist patients in public ophthalmology healthcare and teaching hospitals. Even though new eyeglass prescriptions are a frequent reason for ophthalmological appointments, patients tend to be satisfied with teleconsultation, as it also provides guidance.


RESUMO Objetivo: Analisar a teleconsulta em um hospital público de ensino oftalmológico, durante o período da pandemia do COVID-19. Métodos: Foram revisados os registros médicos dos pacientes que solicitaram teleconsulta oftalmológica, no período de Junho de 2020 a Março de 2021. Os resultados incluem dados demográficos, sintomas de queixas oculares e hipóteses diagnósticas. Além disso, foram analisados dados da pesquisa de satisfação aplicada após cada teleconsulta. Resultados: Um total de 161 prontuários foram revisados. A idade média dos pacientes foi de 45.98 ± 17.57 (8 a 90) anos, a maioria mulheres, 113 (70,20%). Apenas 57 (35,60%) eram pacientes acompanhados no hospital previamente. A principal razão pela busca pela teleconsulta foi o erro refracional, 73 (45.43%), seguido de olho seco, 16 (9.93%), pterígio, 13 (8.07%). Outros motivos foram o acompanhamento de doenças prévias como glaucoma, retinopatias, miopia, estrabismo e ceratocone. Quanto a pesquisa de satisfação, 151(93,87%) pacientes responderam a pesquisa on-line. A maioria deles mostrou-se satisfeito com a teleconsulta (94.03%) e fariam uma nova teleconsulta (90.06%). Conclusão: A teleconsulta pode auxiliar a saúde pública em oftalmologia podendo ser utilizada em hospitais universitários. Embora o erro refracional tenha sido o motivo mais frequente nas consultas, os pacientes mostraram-se satisfeitos com essa modalidade de atendimento que serve como um serviço de orientação.

ABSTRACT Purpose: Diabetes mellitus is a leading cause of impaired vision. The objective of this study was to evaluate the feasibility of use of portable retinograph and remote analysis of images along with a virtual questionnaire for screening for diabetic retinopathy in basic health units in the city of Ribeirão Preto/SP during the Covid-19 pandemic. Methods: Standard Covid-19 protocol was followed during the screening. Blood pressure and capillary blood glucose were measured. Demographic and social data were collected through a standardized online questionnaire via smartphone. After pupillary dilation, fundal images were obtained with portable retinographs by trained ophthalmology residents. Two standardized 45° images were acquired: one posterior segment and another nasal to the optic nerve. Diabetic retinopathy was classified according to the Early Treatment Diabetic Retinopathy Study. Results: A total of 350 patients (64% female; 45% aged 55-70 years; 55% Caucasian) were evaluated. For 40.5% of patients, the campaign was the first opportunity for retinal evaluation; 47.56% had diabetes mellitus for >10 years. On repeat analysis of images stored in a cloud-based repository by retinal specialist, a 7.8% difference was observed in the Early Treatment Diabetic Retinopathy Study diabetic retinopathy classification, compared to the screening findings. Mild diabetic retinopathy was observed in 12.23%, moderate diabetic retinopathy in 6.31%, and proliferative diabetic retinopathy in 2.58% patients. Macular edema was present in 4.58% patients. Diabetic retinopathy was not detected in 72.78% patients. Conclusion: Use of portable retinographs together with telemedicine can provide efficient alternative to traditional methods for screening and diagnosis of diabetic retinopathy.


RESUMO Objetivo: A diabetes mellitus é considerada uma epidemia global e causa de baixa visual em países em desenvolvimento. Este estudo foi realizado com o objetivo de avaliar a viabilidade do retinógrafo portátil e análise remota de imagens associada a questionário virtual para o rastreio de retinopatia diabética em Unidades Básicas de Saúde da cidade de Ribeirão Preto/SP durante a pandemia de Covid-19. Métodos: Trezentos e sessenta pacientes compareceram a campanha. O acolhimento foi realizado na Unidade Básica de Saúde pela equipe de enfermagem, respeitando medidas de prevenção do Covid-19 Os realizou-se aferição da pressão arterial e glicemia capilar seguida de dilatação. Dados demográficos e sociais foram coletados através de questionário on-line padronizado via smartphone e realizou-se a triagem da retinopatia diabética através da obtenção de imagens com retinógrafos portáteis realizados por residentes de oftalmologia previamente treinados, com a aquisição de 2 imagens padronizadas de 45º: uma do segmento posterior e outra nasal ao nervo óptico. Resultados: Trezentos e sessenta pacientes foram atendidos durante a campanha. Dez pacientes (1,02%) foram excluídos devido à opacidade de meios e impossibilidade de obtenção de imagens de fundo de olho. Foram avaliados 350 pacientes, 64% do sexo feminino, 45% entre 55 e 70 anos e 55% brancos. A Campanha foi a primeira avaliação de retina para 40,5% dos pacientes e 47,56% apresentavam diabetes mellitus há mais de 10 anos. Na análise comparativa da classificação da retinopatia diabética segundo Early Treatment Diabetic Retinopathy Study (triagem X Nuvem) observou-se uma diferença de 7,8% nos resultados. Retinopatia diabética leve foi observada em 12,23%, moderada em 6,31%, proliferativa em 2,58%; edema macular presente em 4,58% e ausência de retinopatia diabética em 72,78% dos pacientes. Conclusão: A utilização de retinógrafos portáteis juntamente a telemedicina, para o rastreamento da retinopatia diabética pode ser considerada uma alternativa eficiente para triagem e diagnóstico da retinopatia diabética dentro ou fora do cenário pandêmico, auxiliando na prevenção de perda visual pelo diabetes.

ABSTRACT Purpose: to analyze the telehealth speech therapy approach in patients with oropharyngeal dysphagia and determine the applications and effects of this practice. Methods: the following descriptors were used for selection: Telerehabilitation, Telemedicine, "Remote Consultation", "Healthcare Delivery", "Distance Counseling", "Therapy, Computer-Assisted", "Speech-Language Pathology", "Speech Therapy", "Swallowing Disorders", Dysphagia, "Bottle Feeding" and "Enteral Nutrition" in PubMed, MedLine, Scopus and Web of Science databases and in the gray literature, by Google Scholar and ProQuest. Studies were selected without time limits, in Portuguese, English and Spanish, that described the applicability and/or effects of telehealth in speech therapy practice in patients with swallowing disorders/dysphagia, regardless of gender and age. For analysis, the following were considered: level of scientific evidence and recommendation, telehealth modality, objectives, methods and results/conclusion. Literature Review: 490 articles were found and, after exclusion of duplicates, analysis of titles, abstracts and reading of full articles, 22 studies were selected. The articles were classified into telehealth modalities: tele-education, telediagnosis, teleconsulting, teleregulation and telemonitoring. Conclusion: the telehealth modalities described had a great potential to promote significant improvements in patients presented with swallowing disorders/dysphagia, suggesting them as viable for speech therapy services. Among them, teleconsultation was the least addressed.


RESUMO Objetivo: analisar a abordagem fonoaudiológica por meio da telessaúde em pacientes com disfagia e determinar as aplicações e efeitos desta prática. Métodos: para seleção foram utilizados os descritores: Telerehabilitation, Telemedicine, "Remote Consultation", "Delivery of Health Care", "Distance Counseling", "Therapy, Computer-Assisted", "Speech-Language Pathology", "Speech Therapy", "Deglutition Disorders", Dysphagia, "Bottle Feeding" e "Enteral Nutrition" nas bases de dados PubMed, MedLine, Scopus e Web of Science e na literatura cinzenta, por meio do Google Acadêmico e ProQuest. Foram selecionados estudos sem delimitação de tempo, nas línguas português, inglês e espanhol, que descrevessem a aplicabilidade e/ou efeitos da telessaúde na prática fonoaudiológica junto à pacientes com alteração da deglutição/disfagia, sem restrição de sexo e idade. Para análise considerou-se: nível de evidência científica e recomendação, modalidade de telessaúde, objetivos, métodos e resultados/conclusão. Revisão da Literatura: foram encontrados 490 artigos e, após exclusão de duplicatas, análise dos títulos, resumos e leitura completa dos artigos, 22 estudos foram selecionados. Os artigos foram classificados nas modalidades da telessaúde: tele-educação, telediagnóstico, teleconsultoria, telerregulação e telemonitoramento. Conclusão: as modalidades de telessaúde descritas tiveram grande potencial para promover melhoras significativas em pacientes com alteração de deglutição/disfagia, sugerindo-as como viáveis para serviços fonoaudiológicos. Entre elas, a teleconsulta foi a menos explorada.

ABSTRACT Objective: To evaluate questions concerning oral medicineand pharmacology-related specialties of asynchronous dental teleconsulting sessions of the Telehealth Brazil Networks Program. Material and Methods: Data were collected from secondary databases of asynchronous dental teleconsulting sessions of the telehealth centers of Minas Gerais from July 2015 to July 2017. The variables for dental underlying fields and the types of questions were evaluated. Descriptive analysis was performed with the SPSS v.22.0 program. Results: 3,920 teleconsulting sessions were referred to the telehealth centers of Minas Gerais during the study period. Regarding oral medicine-related questions (n=745), most (n=469; 62.95%) addressed diagnosis, whereas the underlying field questions mostly regarded fungal, viral, and bacterial infections (17.3%), biopsies (16.4%), developmental defects and dental abnormalities (9.9%), and soft tissue tumors (9.4%). Pharmacology-related questions (n=738) mostly addressed general approaches (n=672; 91.06%), and the most common questions were about underlying fields' prescriptions (44.7%), anesthetics (17.6%), adverse effects of medications and anesthetics (10.2%), and selection of anesthetics for patients with systemic conditions (9.8%). Conclusion: Most teleconsulting sessions regarded conditions or procedures common in primary health care and essential for diagnosis and treatment planning at all care levels, which suggests a need for more academic learning processes for healthcare professionals, especially in dentistry primary fields.

ABSTRACT Objectives: to map the scientific evidence related to the characteristics, themes, and outcomes of using health education podcasts aimed at individuals over 18 years of age in intra or extrahospital environments. Methods: a scoping review, based on the Joanna Briggs Institute method, conducted in 11 databases, including studies from 2004 to 2022. Results: 11 studies were selected, categorized, highlighting the characteristics, evaluated outcomes, areas, and conditions of podcast application, indicating it as an effective tool for promoting behavioral change, health promotion, and social interaction, demonstrating its potential to improve well-being, quality of life, and user/client autonomy. Conclusions: the use of podcasts proves to be an effective, innovative, and low-cost tool, with a significant social impact, being effective for behavioral change, satisfaction, and social interaction. However, the lack of comprehensive studies on podcast development methodologies represents challenges to be overcome.


RESUMEN Objetivos: mapear las evidencias científicas relacionadas con las características, temáticas y resultados del uso de podcasts de educación en salud dirigidos a individuos mayores de 18 años en entornos intra o extrahospitalarios. Métodos: revisión de alcance, basada en el método del Joanna Briggs Institute, realizada en 11 bases de datos, incluyendo estudios de 2004 a 2022. Resultados: se seleccionaron 11 estudios, categorizados y destacando las características, resultados evaluados, áreas y condiciones de aplicación del podcast, señalándolo como una herramienta eficaz para promover el cambio de comportamiento, la promoción de la salud y la interacción social, evidenciando su potencial para mejorar el bienestar, la calidad de vida y la autonomía de los usuarios/clientes. Conclusiones: el uso del podcast demuestra ser una herramienta eficaz, innovadora y de bajo costo, con un impacto social significativo, siendo eficaz para el cambio de comportamiento, la satisfacción y la interacción social. Sin embargo, la falta de estudios exhaustivos sobre las metodologías de desarrollo de podcasts representa desafíos a superar.

Métodos: revisão de escopo, baseando-se no método do Joanna Briggs Institute, realizada em 11 bases de dados, incluindo estudos de 2004 a 2022. Resultados: foram selecionados 11 estudos, categorizados e destacando as características, desfechos avaliados, áreas e condições de aplicação do podcast, apontando-o como uma ferramenta eficaz para promover a mudança comportamental, a promoção da saúde e a interação social, evidenciando seu potencial para melhorar o bem-estar, qualidade de vida e autonomia dos usuários/clientes. Conclusões: o uso do podcast demonstra ser uma ferramenta eficaz, inovadora e de baixo custo, com impacto social significativo, sendo eficaz para mudança comportamental, satisfação e interação social. No entanto, a falta de estudos abrangentes sobre as metodologias de desenvolvimento de podcasts representam desafios a serem superados.

ABSTRACT

Objetivo: Desenvolver uma plataforma virtual de Teleconsulta para atendimento a casos suspeitos de Síndromes Gripais e infecção por COVID-19. Metodologia: Trata-se de um estudo de natureza aplicada, com desenvolvimento de produção tecnológica e inovadora, prospectivo, ecológico, descritivo, de série temporal. A população do estudo foi formada por qualquer pessoa sintomática para Síndromes Gripais por COVID-19, suspeitos ou confirmados, de qualquer local do Brasil. Este estudo foi realizado em duas etapas, a saber: Etapa I: Desenvolvimento da Aplicação para Plataforma de Teleconsulta. Etapa II: atendimento por meio de Teleconsulta de Casos suspeitos de COVID-19 e Sindromes Gripais. A metodologia utilizada para o desenvolvimento da aplicação proposta foi a modelagem por prototipação evolucionária. Resultados: Foram realizados 209 atendimentos na Plataforma de Teleconsulta, sendo 151 (70%) do sexo feminino e 65 (30%) do sexo masculino, com prevalência de idade variando de 20 a 29 anos (41%). Quanto ao risco de infecção por COVID-19, 42 (20%) tinham alto risco, 75 (36%) médio risco e 92 (44%) baixo risco. Os sintomas mais prevalentes foram: secreção nasal ou espirros (53%), dores no corpo (49%), dor de cabeça (47%), dor de garganta (46%), tosse seca (35%), Febre (31%), falta de ar (25%) e diarreia (23%). Inicialmente o teleatendimento foi composto por teletriagem com classificação de risco com base na sintomatologia dos pacientes que foram codificados com pontuações conforme a gravidade do sintoma para formas graves de COVID-19. A classificação de risco categorizou os pacientes em risco baixo (1 a 9 pontos), risco médio (10 a 19 pontos) e risco alto (20 a 36 pontos). Em seguida, a teleconsulta foi agendada conforme disponibilidade do paciente por meio do método SBAR para comunicação efetiva e ao término do atendimento um plano de cuidados com Sistematização da Assistência de Enfermagem ­ SAE era encaminhado ao paciente por meio de WhatsApp ou e-mail. Conclusão: A plataforma de teleconsulta possibilitou a triagem dos pacientes, reduziu as visitas desnecessárias às unidades de emergência, permitiu a avaliação e monitoramento dos casos, bem como o acompanhamento de pacientes ambulatoriais que não necessitam de avaliação presencial.


Objective: To develop a virtual Teleconsultation platform for care of suspected cases of influenza syndromes and infection by COVID-19. Methodology: This is a study of applied nature, with development of technological and innovative production, prospective, ecological, descriptive, time series. The study population was made up of any person symptomatic for COVID-19 influenza syndromes, suspected or confirmed, from any location in Brazil. This study was conducted in two stages, namely: Stage I: Development of the Application for Teleconsultation Platform. Stage II: care through Teleconsultation of suspected cases of COVID-19 and influenza syndromes. The methodology used to develop the proposed application was evolutionary prototyping modeling. Results: There were 209 consultations in the Teleconsultation Platform, 151 (70%) were female and 65 (30%) were male, with prevalence of age ranging from 20 to 29 years (41%). As for the risk of infection by COVID-19, 42 (20%) had high risk, 75 (36%) medium risk and 92 (44%) low risk. The most prevalent symptoms were: nasal discharge or sneezing (53%), body aches (49%), headache (47%), sore throat (46%), dry cough (35%), fever (31%), shortness of breath (25%), and diarrhea (23%). Initially, the telecare was composed of teletry with risk classification based on the symptomatology of the patients who were coded with scores according to symptom severity for severe forms of COVID-19. The risk classification categorized patients into low risk (1 to 9 points), medium risk (10 to 19 points), and high risk (20 to 36 points). Then, the teleconsultation was scheduled according to the patient's availability through the SBAR method for effective communication and at the end of the service a care plan with Nursing Assistance Systematization - SAE was forwarded to the patient through WhatsApp or e-mail. Conclusion: Teleconsultation platform enabled patient triage, reduced unnecessary visits to emergency units, allowed the evaluation and monitoring of cases, as well as the follow- up of outpatients who do not need face-to-face evaluation.


Objetivo: Desarrollar una plataforma de Teleconsulta virtual para atender casos sospechosos de síndromes gripales e infección por COVID-19. Metodología: Se trata de un estudio aplicado, con desarrollo de producción tecnológica e innovadora, prospectivo, ecológico, descriptivo, con serie de tiempo. La población de estudio estuvo formada por cualquier persona sintomática de síndromes gripales por COVID-19, sospechada o confirmada, de cualquier localidad de Brasil. Este estudio se realizó en dos etapas, a saber: Etapa I: Desarrollo de Aplicaciones para la Plataforma de Teleconsulta. Etapa II: atención mediante teleconsulta de casos sospechosos de COVID-19 y síndromes gripales. La metodología utilizada para el desarrollo de la aplicación propuesta fue el modelado por prototipo evolutivo. Resultados: Se realizaron 209 consultas en la Plataforma de Teleconsulta, 151 (70%) del sexo femenino y 65 (30%) del masculino, con prevalencia de edades entre 20 a 29 años (41%). En cuanto al riesgo de infección por COVID-19, 42 (20%) fueron de alto riesgo, 75 (36%) de riesgo medio y 92 (44%) de bajo riesgo. Los síntomas más prevalentes fueron: secreción nasal o estornudos (53%), dolor de cuerpo (49%), dolor de cabeza (47%), dolor de garganta (46%), tos seca (35%), fiebre (31%), falta de aliento (25%) y diarrea (23%). Inicialmente, la teleasistencia consistía en teleselección con clasificación de riesgo en función de la sintomatología de los pacientes a los que se codificaba con puntuaciones según la gravedad del síntoma para formas graves de COVID-19. La clasificación de riesgo clasificó a los pacientes en riesgo bajo (1 a 9 puntos), riesgo medio (10 a 19 puntos) y riesgo alto (20 a 36 puntos). Luego, se programó la teleconsulta de acuerdo a la disponibilidad del paciente a través del método SBAR para una comunicación efectiva y al final de la atención se remitió al paciente un plan de cuidados con Sistematización de Atención de Enfermería - SAE vía WhatsApp o correo electrónico. Conclusión: La plataforma de teleconsulta posibilitó el triaje de pacientes, redujo las visitas innecesarias a las unidades de emergencia, permitió la evaluación y seguimiento de casos, así como el seguimiento de pacientes ambulatorios que no requieren evaluación presencial.

ABSTRACT

Apresentamos e discutimos a construção de um instrumento de compliance para tratamento de dados pessoais e dados pessoais sensíveis do Núcleo Telessaúde UFSC, com base na Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados Pessoais. Trata-se da elaboração de diretrizes para um Relatório de Impacto à Proteção de Dados Pessoais visando à preservação da dimensão humana do dado e à preservação de direitos. A pesquisa foi qualitativa e exploratória, tendo o relato de experiência como metodologia. O levantamento bibliográfico e a análise documental permitiram a investigação, realizada em 2022, de processos, etapas e fluxos do tratamento dos dados. A análise dos dados foi qualitativa, por comparação dos resultados com a legislação vigente e com a adequação ao princípio da autodeterminação informativa. Os resultados demonstraram que as propostas para o relatório contribuíram para um tratamento de dados mais adequado ao ordenamento jurídico e, consequentemente, mais humanizado


We present and discuss the construction of a compliance instrument for the processing of personal data and sensitive personal data of the Telessaúde UFSC Center, based on the General Data Protection Law. It is a model for the elaboration of guidelines for the construction of an Impact Report on the Protection of Personal Data that collaborates to the preservation of the human dimension of data and the preserva-tion of rights. The research was qualitative and exploratory, adopting experience report as methodology. Bibliographical research and documental analysis enabled the investigation of the processes, stages and flows of data processing, carried out in 2022. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively, comparing the results with current legislation and adequacy to the principle of informative self-determination. Results showed that the proposed guidelines for the report contributed to a data processing more appropriate to the legal system and, consequently, more humanized


Presentamos y discutimos la construcción de un instrumento de cumplimiento para el tratamiento de datos personales y datos personales sensibles del Núcleo Telessaúde UFSC, con base en la Ley General de Pro-tección de Datos. Es la preparación de directrices para un Informe de Impacto de Protección de Datos Per-sonales para preservación de la dimensión humana de los datos y preservar los derechos. La investigación cualitativa y exploratoria adoptó un relato de experiencia como metodología. El levantamiento bibliográfico y el análisis documental permitieron la indagación de procesos, etapas y flujos de procesamiento de datos, realizados en 2022. El análisis de datos fue cualitativa, mediante la comparación de los resultados con la legislación vigente y la adecuación al principio de autodeterminación informativa. Los resultados mostra-ron que las directrices propuestas para el informe contribuyó a un tratamiento de datos más adecuado al ordenamiento jurídico y, en consecuencia, más humano

ABSTRACT

O objetivo do presente estudo foi identificar elementos estruturantes do processo de trabalho das redes educacionais colaborativas em saúde mediadas por tecnologias de informação e comunicação, assinalando suas características-chave e sua dinâmica de funcionamento. Trata-se de uma revisão de escopo, realiza-da nas bases de dados: Medline, Lilacs e no portal Oasisbr. Foram encontrados 1.499 estudos, dos quais, oito atenderam aos critérios de inclusão. Os resultados da investigação apontam as práticas educacionais colaborativas em saúde mediados por essas tecnologias como processos amplos e complexos, envolvendo a associação de diversos fatores. Destacam-se a dimensão técnico-pedagógica, a gestão estratégica, o gerenciamento do fluxo de informações, os aspectos relacionais, as competências de cada membro e a mediação do processo colaborativo. A integração dos diferentes aspectos da rede traduz um conjunto de desafios para a estruturação dos processos colaborativos que não se limita à pura acumulação cognitiva, mas vincula-se a processos de aprendizagem e desenvolvimento dos sujeitos


The aim of the present study was to identify structural elements of the work process of collaborative educational networks in health, mediated by information and communication technologies, by pointing out its key characteristics and its operating dynamics. This is a scope review, accomplished in the following databases Medline and Lilacs and in the Oasisbr portal. A total of 1.499 studies were found, and eight of them met the inclusion criteria. The search results indicate the collaborative educational practices in health mediated by these technologies as broad and complex processes, involving the association of several factors. The technical-pedagogical dimension, the strategic management, the management of the information flow, the relational aspects, the competencies of each member, and the mediation of the collaborative process are highlighted. The integration of the different aspects of the network translates a set of challenges for the structuring of collaborative processes, which is not limited to pure cognitive accumulation, but is bound to learning processes and to the subjects' development.


El objetivo del presente estudio es identificar elementos estructurantes del proceso de trabajo de las redes educativas colaborativas en salud mediadas por tecnologías de la información y comunicación, señalando sus características claves y su dinámica de funcionamiento. El trabajo presenta una revisión de escopo, realizada en las bases de datos: Medline, Lilacs y en el portal Oasisbr. Fueron encontrados 1.499 estudios, de los cuales ocho cumplieron los criterios de inclusión. Los resultados de la investigación apuntan a las prácticas educativas colaborativas en salud mediadas por estas tecnologías como procesos amplios y com-plejos, que abarcan la asociación de diversos factores. Se destacan la dimensión técnico-pedagógica, la gestión estratégica, el gerenciamiento del flujo de información, los aspectos relacionales, las competencias de cada miembro y la mediación del proceso colaborativo. La integración de los diferentes aspectos de la red traduce un conjunto de desafíos para la estructuración de los procesos colaborativos, que no se limitan a la acumulación cognitiva, sino que se vinculan a los procesos de aprendizaje y desarrollo de los sujetos

Introducción: el uso de cuestionarios electrónicos se ha convertido en algo común, sin embargo, depende de diversos factores (como la edad y las habilidades digitales), por lo que es necesario determinar la confiabilidad de estos instrumentos para su aplicación. Objetivo: determinar la concordancia y reproducibilidad de los cuestionarios Calidad de vida breve de la OMS (WHOQoL-B) y Actitudes autoevaluadas hacia la vejez (AAV) en formato electrónico para su aplicación vía remota a mujeres de edad madura y adulta mayor. Metodología: se realizó un estudio instrumental con el método test-retest con 35 mujeres (40-69 años). Se transfirieron ambos cuestionarios a un formulario de Google y se enviaron vía WhatsAppen dos ocasiones, con una diferencia mayor a 15 días entre la aplicación. Se calcularon los parámetros de confiabilidad por estabilidad temporal y concordancia estadística. Resultados: el WHOQoL-B obtuvo a y CCI = 0.880 y r = 0.785 en la calificación total; para sus dimensiones a > 0.740 y r > 0.590. La calificación total del AAV mostró a y CCI = 0.708 y r = 0.552 y sus dimensiones a > 0.710 y r de 0.295 a 0.508. Conclusiones: los cuestionarios WHOQoL-B y AAV en formato electrónico pueden ser utilizados para aplicación vía remota, aunque el AAV es menos consistente...(AU)


Abstract Introduction: The electronic tests have been used on a regular basis, although their use depends on several factors such as age and digital ability, therefore it is necessary to determine the confidence of these instruments for their application. Objective: To determine the agreement and reproducibility of the WHO Quality of Life-Bref (WHOQoL-B) and the Self-Assessed Attitudes Towards Old Age (SATO) questionnaires in electronic format for application in middle-aged and older women. Methods: An instrumental study with a test-retest method was carried out with 35 women (40-69 years). Both questionnaires were transferred to a Google form and sent to the women by WhatsApp twice with a difference of more than 15 days between applications. We calculate the confidence by temporal stability and the statistical agreement. Results: For the WHOQoL-B, an a and ICC= 0.880, and r = 0.785 were obtained in the total rating; for their dimensions the result for a was > 0.740, and r > 0.590. The total rating of SATO shows an a and ICC= 0.708, and r = 0.552; for their dimensions, the a was > 0.710, and r from 0.295 to 0.508. Conclusions: The electronic tests WHOQoL and SATO can be used for remote application, although SATO is less consistent.

Con la llegada de la pandemia del COVID-19, el gobierno peruano realizó modificaciones en el sistema de salud, dando paso al decreto legislativo N° 117-2020, para el servicio de telemedicina dentro del sector de la salud pública y privada, entendiéndose como la comunicación entre el paciente y el profesional médico a través de un dispositivo como computadora o teléfono. Objetivo. Identificar los niveles de satisfacción en la atención del servicio por telemedicina de los pacientes de una clínica privada de especialidades médicas en la ciudad de Puno durante la pandemia por COVID-19. Materiales y métodos. El diseño del estudio fue observacional, prospectivo; previo consentimiento informado, se aplicó el cuestionario The Patient Satisfaction Questionnaire Short Form [PSQ-18] de manera virtual a 56 pacientes mayores de 18 años seleccionados de manera no probabilística durante la pandemia mediante la telemedicina en una clínica de Puno durante el 2020 y 2021. Resultados. El 55,4% de los pacientes se mostraron parcialmente satisfechos y el 39,3% indicaron estar satisfechos; encontrándose asociación estadística significativa entre la satisfacción de la atención de salud mediante telemedicina con la edad del paciente (p<0,01*); las dimensiones del cuestionario mostraron medias ligeramente altas, destacando las dimensiones Accesibilidad y comodidad (12,93±3,13); Calidad técnica (12,34±3,56); Trato interpersonal (6,45±1,32); aspectos financieros (6,32±1,52) y satisfacción general (6,11±1,88). Conclusiones. Las dimensiones referidas a la calidad técnica, comodidad y accesibilidad fueron reportadas con mayores niveles de satisfacción, estos hallazgos contribuyen a la evidencia sobre la aceptación de la telemedicina como una alternativa viable para brindar atención de calidad.


With the arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Peruvian government made changes in the health system, giving way to Legislative Decree No. 117-2020, for the telemedicine service within the public and private health sector, understood as the communication between the patient and the medical professional through a device such as a computer or telephone. Objective. To identify the levels of satisfaction with the telemedicine service provided to patients in a private medical specialty clinic in the city of Puno during the COVID-19 pandemic. Materials and methods. The study design was observational, prospective; prior informed consent, The Patient Satisfaction Questionnaire Short Form [PSQ-18] was applied virtually to 56 patients over 18 years of age selected in a non-probabilistic manner during the pandemic through telemedicine in a clinic in Puno during 2020 and 2021. Results. 55.4% of the patients were partially satisfied and 39.3% were satisfied; a significant statistical association was found between satisfaction with health care through telemedicine and the patient's age (p<0.01*); the dimensions of the questionnaire showed slightly high averages, highlighting the dimensions Accessibility and comfort (12.93±3.13); Technical quality (12.34±3.56); Interpersonal treatment (6.45±1.32); financial aspects (6.32±1.52) and general satisfaction (6.11±1.88). Conclusions. The dimensions referring to technical quality, comfort and accessibility were reported with higher levels of satisfaction, these findings contribute to the evidence on the acceptance of telemedicine as a viable alternative to provide quality care.

Objetivo. Identificar a satisfação do paciente com o atendimento de telemedicina em uma clínica privada de especialidades médicas na cidade de Puno durante a pandemia da COVID-19. ABSTRACT

Introducción: durante la pandemia de COVID-19 hubo un auge sin precedentes de la telemedicina, probablemente por la forzada adopción de tecnología ante las medidas restrictivas. El presente estudio se propuso comparar la interacción y la comunicación entre médicos de cabecera (MC) y pacientes, antes y durante el período de pandemia, en términos de consultas ambulatorias programadas y mensajes del Portal de Salud. Materiales y métodos: corte transversal con muestreo consecutivo de turnos programados y mensajes, ocurridos entre las semanas epidemiológicas (SE) 10 y 23, de 2019 y 2020, respectivamente. Se incluyeron 147 médicos del Servicio de Medicina Familiar y Comunitaria, y una cápita de 73 427 pacientes afiliados al Plan de Salud del Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires. Se realizó análisis cuantitativo y cualitativo. Resultados: hubo una reducción del 70% de las consultas presenciales (de 76 375 en 2019 a 23 200 en 2020) y un aumento concomitante de teleconsultas (de 255 en la SE13 a 1089 en la SE23). En simultáneo, los mensajes aumentaron sustancialmente (de 28 601 en 2019 a 84 916 en 2020), con un inicio abrupto al comienzo del confinamiento, y una tendencia decreciente a lo largo del tiempo. Antes de la pandemia, el contenido estuvo relacionado con órdenes electrónicas de estudios complementarios, control de resultados, recetas de medicación crónica y/o interconsultas a especialistas, mientras que los dominios más frecuentes durante la pandemia fueron necesidades informativas epidemiológicas, como medidas preventivas para COVID-19, vacuna antineumocócica, vacuna antigripal, casos o sospechas, resultados de hisopados, entre otras. Conclusión: el auge de las tecnologías de la comunicación e información durante la pandemia permitió dar continuidad a los procesos asistenciales en salud pese al distanciamiento físico. Hubo mayor utilización de mensajería por necesidades informativas de los pacientes, y la relación médico-paciente se ha modificado. (AU)


Introduction: during the COVID-19 pandemic, there was an unprecedented boom in telemedicine, probably due to the forced adoption of technology in the face of restrictive measures. This study aimed to compare the interaction and communication between general practitioners and patients before and during the pandemic based on scheduled outpatient consultations and Health Portal messages. Materials and methods: Cross-sectional study with a consecutive sampling of scheduled appointments and messages, occurring between epidemiological weeks (EW) 10 and 23 of 2019 and 2020, respectively. We included 147 physicians from the Family and Community Medicine Service and a capita of 73427 patients affiliated with the Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires health plan. We conducted a quantitative and qualitative analysis. Results: there was a 70% reduction in face-to-face consultations (from 76375 in 2019 to 23200 in 2020) and a concomitant increase in teleconsultations (from 255 in EW13 to 1089 in EW23). Concurrently, messages increased substantially (from 28601 in 2019 to 84916 in 2020), with an abrupt onset at the beginning of confinement and a decreasing trend over time. Before the pandemic, the content involved electronic orders for complementary studies, outcome monitoring, chronic medication prescriptions, or expert consultations. The most frequent domains during the pandemic were epidemiological information needs, such as preventive measures for COVID-19, pneumococcal vaccine, influenza vaccine, cases or suspicions, and swab results, among others. Conclusion: the rise of communication and information technologies during the pandemic allowed the continuity of healthcare processes despite the physical distance. There was increased use of messaging for patients' information needs, and the doctor-patient relationship has changed. (AU)

Introducción: El uso de tecnologías móviles para apoyar el logro de los objetivos de salud tiene el potencial de influir y transformar la provisión de servicios mundialmente. Objetivo: Reflexionar sobre la utilidad de las aplicaciones para dispositivos móviles en las ramas estomatológicas. Comentarios principales: Las aplicaciones para dispositivos móviles tienen muchas ventajas: son constantemente accesibles, se pueden ajustar a las necesidades del usuario, pueden proporcionar comentarios personalizados, son más anónimas que el contacto cara a cara, pueden enviar recordatorios, y tienen un amplio alcance y características interactivas. Consideraciones globales: La utilidad de las aplicaciones para dispositivos móviles en las ramas estomatológicas es innegable. Esta variante tecnológica se ha impuesto como un arma valiosa dentro de los servicios de salud móvil en áreas como la promoción y la prevención de salud, la información a pacientes, la comunicación entre profesionales y el diagnóstico de entidades patológicas. Es una necesidad la búsqueda de la calidad en las que se creen y que se incorporen a la práctica de la profesión para potencializar los beneficios que ofrecen.


Introduction: Using mobile technologies to support the achievement of health goals is very much likely to influence and transform service provision globally. Objective: To reflect on the usefulness of mobile device applications in the branches of dentistry. Key remarks: Mobile device applications have many advantages: they are accessible at any time, they can be adjusted to the user's needs, they provide personalized feedback, they are more anonymous than face-to-face contact, they can send reminders; in addition, they have a wide reach and interactive features. Global considerations: The usefulness of mobile device applications in the branches of dentistry is undeniable. This technological variant has established itself as a valuable weapon within mobile health services in areas such as health promotion and prevention, patient information, communication between professionals, and diagnosis of pathological entities. It is necessary to search for quality, creating and incorporating mobile device applications into the professional practice, in order to maximize the benefits that they offer.

ABSTRACT

Introducción: con la evolución de la pandemia de COVID-19 se observó que esta infección se comporta como un iceberg: en el vértice se ubican las complicaciones en el contexto de la infección aguda y en la base se van acumulando aquellos síntomas que persisten en el tiempo e impiden al paciente su recuperación total. Objetivo: determinar la prevalencia de síntomas persistentes en pacientes diagnosticados con COVID-19 seguidos por el área de telemedicina del Departamento de Control de Infecciones del Hospital de Clínicas, San Lorenzo, Paraguay, durante el periodo agosto 2020- abril 2021. Metodología: se aplicó un diseño estudio observacional, descriptivo, retrospectivo de corte transversal, con muestreo no probabilístico de casos consecutivos. Se incluyeron 236 cuestionarios digitales de pacientes seguidos por el área de telemedicina entre agosto 2020 y abril 2021. Resultados: la edad media fue 36± 10 años, 71,2% fue del sexo femenino. El 61% de los pacientes provenía del Departamento Central y 58,9% fue personal de blanco. El 29,7% padecía de obesidad. El 86,9% presentó un cuadro leve. Presentaron síntomas persistentes el 66,9% siendo la fatiga la más común (66,5%) y los síntomas duraron menos de tres meses en 55%. Conclusiones: la edad promedio muestra mayoría de población joven, sobre todo mujeres y procedentes del Departamento Central. Más de la mitad califican como personal de blanco, la mayoría fueron obesos, casi todos presentaron un cuadro de COVID-19 leve y el síntoma persistente más frecuente fue la fatiga con una duración de menos que 3 meses.


Introduction: With the evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic, it was observed that this infection behaves like an iceberg: at the apex there are the complications in the context of acute infection and at the base there are those symptoms that persist in the time and prevent the patient from full recovery. Objective: To determine the prevalence of persistent symptoms in patients diagnosed with COVID-19 followed by the telemedicine area of ​​the Infection Control Department of the Hospital de Clínicas, San Lorenzo, Paraguay, during the period August, 2020-April, 2021. Methodology: An observational, descriptive, retrospective cross-sectional study design was applied, with non-probabilistic sampling of consecutive cases. Two hundred thirty-six digital questionnaires from patients followed by the telemedicine area between August, 2020 and April, 2021 were included. Results: The mean age was 36 ± 10 years, 71.2% was female, 61% of the patients came from the Central Department and 58.9% was health professionals. Twenty-nine-point seven percent suffered from obesity while 86.9% presented a mild condition. Sixty-six-point nine percent presented persistent symptoms, fatigue being the most common (66.5%) and the symptoms lasted less than three months in 55%. Conclusions: The mean age showed a majority of the young population, especially women from the Central Department. More than half qualified as health professionals, most were obese, almost all had mild COVID-19, and the most frequent persistent symptom was fatigue lasting less than 3 months.

ABSTRACT

Justifications and Objectives: the use of digital health, among people diagnosed with tuberculosis, can be an effective strategy, combined with health services, to increase adherence to treatment and impact the disease's epidemiological data in the country. As this topic has been widely discussed and improved in recent years, it is necessary to further investigate the research available on scientific bases. The objective of this study was to describe the use of digital health technologies to assist with adherence to tuberculosis treatment. Methods: this is a systematic literature review with a rapid review approach, following the PRISMA guidelines and the Cochrane guide. Evidence quality was assessed using the Mixed Methods Appraisal Tool. The studies were identified in PubMed, VHL, CINAHL, Cochrane Trial, SciELO, Scopus and Embase. Experimental, quasi-experimental studies and clinical trials were included, without language restrictions, published between 2020 and 2022. Content: nine studies were selected, which demonstrated that the implementation of digital technologies improved adherence rates to medication treatment and cure rates. Applications use strategies such as synchronous and asynchronous video, voice calls and text messages. Among the studies, only two technology/application names were mentioned. Conclusion: digital technologies have had a positive impact on the treatment of people diagnosed with tuberculosis.(AU)


Justificativas e Objetivos: a utilização da saúde digital, junto às pessoas diagnosticadas com a tuberculose, pode ser uma estratégia eficaz, aliada dos serviços de saúde, para aumentar a adesão ao tratamento e impactar os dados epidemiológicos da doença no país. Como esse tema tem sido amplamente discutido e aprimorado nos últimos anos, é necessário investigar mais a fundo as pesquisas disponíveis nas bases científicas. O objetivo deste estudo foi descrever o uso de tecnologias em saúde digital para auxiliar na adesão ao tratamento da tuberculose. Método: trata-se de revisão sistemática da literatura com abordagem de revisão rápida, seguindo as diretrizes do PRISMA e o guia da Cochrane. A qualidade das evidências foi realizada utilizando a ferramenta Mixed Methods Appraisal Tool. Os estudos foram identificados nas bases de dados PubMed, BVS, CINAHL, Cochrane Trial, SciELO, Scopus e Embase. Foram incluídos estudos experimentais, quase-experimentais e ensaios clínicos, sem restrição de idioma, publicados entre 2020 e 2022. Conteúdo: foram selecionados nove estudos, que demonstraram que a implementação de tecnologias digitais melhorou as taxas de adesão ao tratamento medicamentoso e as taxas de cura. Os aplicativos utilizam estratégias como vídeo síncrono e assíncrono, chamadas de voz e mensagens de texto. Entre os estudos, apenas dois nomes de tecnologia/aplicativo foram mencionados. Conclusão: as tecnologias digitais têm impactado de forma positiva no tratamento das pessoas com diagnóstico de tuberculose.(AU)


Justificaciones y objetivos: el uso de la salud digital entre las personas diagnosticadas con tuberculosis puede ser una estrategia eficaz y aliada de los servicios de salud para aumentar la adherencia al tratamiento e impactar los datos epidemiológicos de la enfermedad en el país. 3. Método: se realizó una revisión sistemática de la literatura con un enfoque de revisión rápida, siguiendo las pautas de PRISMA y la guía de Cochrane. La calidad de la evidencia se evaluó utilizando la herramienta Mixed Methods Appraisal Tool. Los estudios se identificaron en las siguientes bases de datos: PubMed, BVS, CINAHL, Cochrane Trial, SciELO, Scopus y Embase. Se incluyeron estudios experimentales, cuasiexperimentales y ensayos clínicos, sin restricciones de idioma, publicados entre 2020 y 2022. Contenido: se seleccionaron nueve estudios que demostraron que la implementación de tecnologías digitales mejoró las tasas de adherencia al tratamiento con medicamentos y las tasas de curación. Las aplicaciones utilizan estrategias como video sincrónico y asincrónico, llamadas de voz y mensajes de texto. Entre los estudios, sólo se mencionaron dos nombres de tecnologías/aplicaciones. Conclusión: las tecnologías digitales han tenido un impacto positivo en el tratamiento de personas diagnosticadas con tuberculosis.(AU)

ABSTRACT

En el contexto de la pandemia de COVID 19 durante el año 2020 y hasta la fecha se diseñó un formato de evaluación para nuestros alumnos de pre y posgrado bajo el alero de los exámenes clínicos objetivos estructurados (ECOE) en un formato remoto. Se revisó la literatura al respecto y se diseñó un instrumento que diera cuenta en forma oportuna y estandarizada del desempeño de nuestros alumnos y residentes. Estas experiencias están siendo evaluadas en estudios con metodología mixta. Sin embargo, decidimos compartir esta experiencia, por su impacto en el desarrollo docente de las ciencias de la salud.


In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic during 2020 and to date, an evaluation format has been designed for our undergraduate and graduate students under the design of the objective structured clinical examinations (OSCE) in a remote format. The literature was reviewed, and an instrument was designed to account for the performance of our students and residents in a timely and standardized manner. These experiences are being evaluated in studies with mixed methodology. However, we wanted to convey this experience due to its impact on the educational development of health sciences.
